10. I registered an account here, but I did not receive an email, what should I do?

12. How long will it take for my account be validated?

A. Account validation can take anywhere from 10 minutes, to 48 hours. The reason for the long range is because it is dependent on who is on at the time. As stated here, sometimes new accounts require admin validation, and when they are, I am immediately notified of any new registrations. However, if I am not available or am unable to get online, then it may take up to 48 hours for your account to be validated. If I am online, and on the forum at the time of your registration, then I will validate you as quickly as possible.

13. I tried to register or log in when I got an "authorization mismatch" error. What do I do?

A. To fix this issue, you will have to use the full size theme from the skin changer. To change the theme, all you have to do is use the drop down menu, and where it says "La Playa Mobile" simply select "La Playa" and click the button that says "Go."

Next, you may continue with trying to register or log in. If you are still having an issue, then you may post in this area, and I will register an account for you using your desired username and email address.

The reason you had this issue is because of an error with the mobile skin itself. I will try my best to fix this issue, but for now, it can be fixed by simply changing the theme.

That said, I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

14. Why does the forum keep reverting me to the mobile theme? How do I fix this?

A. The forum keeps reverting you to the mobile theme, because the software detects that you may be on a mobile device.

To turn this off, simply go into your UCP and on the menu to your left, click "Edit Options"



Next go over to "Other Options" and check/uncheck the box that says "use a mobile version if I visit from a mobile device?" As you can see on my screenshot, this is disabled.



Next, save your changes by clicking the button that says "Update Options."

This should resolve your issue, but if it doesn't then it is likely that you aren't logged in, or, if you are, then you may have a problem with your cookies.
