Hello and welcome to the Nexus Destinations forum. This is the official support forum for the Nexus Destinations travel agency. Thank you for joining, and I hope you will enjoy your stay here.
That said, to ensure everyone's safety, privacy, and to maintain a friendly atmosphere on this forum, there are a few rules. These aren't written in stone, but should serve as a guide for what's allowed here.
1. Respect all staff and members and their privacy. Respect is a two-way street, so please be respectful of everyone. This especially includes their privacy. We understand that, online, this principle seems to be going the way of the Dodo (extinction) but that is NOT the case here. Think of your time here, as though you are a guest at someone's house. You are welcome to stay here for as long as you like, just as long as you show respect, if you can't agree with that, then you will be quickly shown the door.
2. Before asking a question, please read the Frequently Asked Questions to see if it has been asked & answered already.
If you have a question that wasn't in the FAQ, then you may post it here. Please don't hesitate to ask your question, regardless of how silly or frivolous it may seem to you. We aim to make things as simple as possible, and so, the more you ask, the more everyone can learn.

3. Please keep the cursing to a minimum. We are all [hopefully] adults here, however, it is possible that there are kids who could be shoulder surfing, or 2 or 3 of them may be wearing a fedora and sharing a trenchcoat while pretending to be an adult, whichever the case, we're not taking chances, and that is why we must keep the profanity to a minimum.
4. Members must be at least 13 years old to be on this forum. On the off chance that there are some youngsters lurking about (since they do travel too) It should be understood that because this forum operates in full compliance with the U.S. law, and the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA), underaged (< 13) users are STRICTLY prohibited from registering on this forum and will be banned upon discovery.
5. No spamming or replying to spam. This also includes posting images and smilies as replies to a topic.
6. No advertising outside of your sig and profile. This also includes advertising via pm.
7. Your signature MUST must be an image and follow these guidelines, otherwise, it WILL be removed.
8. Obscene, and otherwise offensive usernames are not allowed here. If we see it, we will change it, and repeated sign ups using obscenities will result in an ip ban. If you wouldn't use it in a church, in front of your mother, or in Disney World full of kids and their parents, then you definitely can't use it here.
8b. Please, do not have your site name as your username. The reason we don't allow this is because currently, we have no way to verify the safety of the content it links to.
9. Do not flame, threaten, harass or otherwise alienate other members. If you see a post that fits this criteria, please report the post, or PM the staff with a screenshot of the offending content and we will handle it.
10. Do not threaten suicide, self-harm, or make posts about doing so on this forum. Please try to understand that while, we are sorry that you going through a rough time, there is no one that is qualified to help you on this forum. If you need a list of places to where you can get help, then please click here.
11. Don't post anything that is racist, sexually explicit, and/or anything that can be deemed as a violation of these rules. This can include, but is not limited to, warez, malicious links, porn.. etc. please refer to rule #9, for what to do if you come across this content.
12. Do not post cloaked urls on this forum. This is for the safety of everyone. If the site you are linking to is within the boundaries of U.S. law and the rules of this forum, then there really is no need to use a cloaked link. All cloaked urls will be removed, and repeat posting of them may result in a ban.
13. Don't post anything that you do NOT own the copyrights' to. We are NOT trying to be sued.
14. Please try to stick to the topic at hand. This is primarily the support forum for Nexus Destinations, and secondarily, a travel forum, where all aspects of travel may be discussed. If you see a good discussion going on, that is irrelevant to the original subject, then please post the link to the topic in Support Center for a split request and I will gladly split the topic. That said, I have created a general discussion area for those who just want to kick back.. and with enough activity, that can be expanded upon. Until then, if you would like to see another area added, then please don't hesitate to ask.
15. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, so if you don't like what is said, just say so (and leave it at that), personal attacks will NOT be tolerated.
16. To keep this forum as friendly as possible, the discussion of politics, sex, religion, personal issues and other such topics that are controversial in nature, are not allowed here. I understand that we are all or mostly adults here, (I see you, Mr. Trenchcoat, and btw, your mustache is on upside down..) but different people have different opinions, and they will not always flow well with others. We have ALL seen this much and FAR worse on social media in general, and it almost always seems to foster a toxic environment, there is already too much negativity online, and that is something that we really want to avoid here.
17. Do NOT ask openly or pm any member of the staff asking to be promoted. We are currently fully-staffed and will be for a long time. However if we need more, we will contact those we feel are best for the position.
18. Please try not to "bump," or reply topics within 24 hours, unless they are located in the forum games section. Otherwise you can edit your post via the "edit" button.
19. One account per user, anyone found with a duplicate account without good reason, will be banned permanently. If you'd like a new username, you may request one here.
20. Do NOT under any circumstances copy anything from this forum without expressed permission from the author. All posted content or anything therein are property of Nexus Destinations, they are not to be used elsewhere under any circumstances. All rights reserved.
Note: If you don't see any topics that you'd like to post in, then by all means start a topic. Just make sure that it isn't against the rules and you will be fine.
