Would you stay here? - AngelNYC - 05-11-2020 This is at Hilton's Conrad Hotel in the Maldives.. This is one of their suites.. This is Ithaa, the resorts underwater restaurant.. RE: Would you stay here? - Mr. Nest - 05-11-2020 I don't know about the hotel room. A part of me would be always listening for dripping or crackling sounds. Also you can forget about sleeping at all. Here is a longer video that tours the suite. https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=45Z5klz3elU RE: Would you stay here? - AngelNYC - 05-11-2020 I wouldn't mind going to the restaurant, and perhaps the hotel room itself, but I'd have to have an option above the sea. I was watching the restaurant video and I felt the panic setting in, the further down I looked. And then I saw the camera pan up, and I realized that it wasn't that far from the surface. As nice as it is, I'd have to go in the off-season, which would likely be monsoon or typhoon season, because there is no way I'd spend $50K a night to stay there, even IF i could afford it. RE: Would you stay here? - Neoed - 02-24-2021 Not sure, that either be really soothing or just annoying to sleep in. RE: Would you stay here? - AngelNYC - 02-25-2021 Honestly it does seem nice, and I think anyone who really liked water, would enjoy it. I would be curious about the strength of the wifi signal.. |
